Volunteering in Prisons

Getting Started

In 2019, Chuck Rabaut introduced me to volunteering at gavel clubs, which are Toastmasters Clubs operating in prisons. In 2022, I became the full-time counselor at Out of the Blue Gavel Club at Jefferson Correctional Institution in Monticello, Florida. In addition I teach creative writing at JCI and Madison Correctional Instution in Madison, Florida. Check out publications and links on this page, and contact me if you want more information.
